Spring Pops Concert

The West Hills Symphonic Band closes out its 2024-25 indoor concert series with its annual Spring Pops Concert at Montour High School on Sunday, April 13th, at 3:00 PM. Remember that all concerts are FREE and open to the public!

Led by Principal Conductor & Music Director Clem Rolin and Associate Conductor Tom Snyder, the band will perform favorites from the stage, screen, concert hall, and even the circus! Get ready to “spring” into the season with Alfred Reed’s iconic band work, THE HOUNDS OF SPRING, and hold onto your hats as we take you on a soaring journey with John Williams’ SUPERMAN SUITE and a new exciting work by Scott Boerma titled ZOOM. You will also be treated to the high-flying sounds of the circus with the popular BARNUM AND BAILEY’S FAVORITES MARCH by the legendary Karl L. King.

Other selections include:

  • BUT BEAUTIFUL – a favorite American jazz standard

  • COMEDIANS’ GALOP – Dmitry Kabalevsky’s most famous work

  • DUKE ELLINGTON IN CONCERT – hits from the legendary bandleader

  • SYMPHONIC DANCES FROM FIDDLER ON THE ROOF – a creative medley of dance excerpts from the classic Broadway musical
